1. About Us

SEO For Electricians UK provides search engine optimisation, GEO/AI SEO, Google Ads management, and website design services for electrical businesses across the United Kingdom. These terms govern your use of our website at www.seoforelectricians.uk and any services you engage us to provide. By using this website or engaging our services, you agree to these terms.

2. Our Services

We provide digital marketing services for electrical businesses including, but not limited to, local SEO, GEO/AI SEO, Google Ads management, social media advertising, and SEO-optimised website design. A binding contract is formed only when we have confirmed your engagement in writing (by email or letter). Any quote, proposal, or estimate provided beforehand is non-binding until confirmed.

We reserve the right to decline or discontinue work where we reasonably believe the requested service cannot be lawfully or practically delivered.

3. Quotations and Pricing

All prices quoted are based on the information provided at the time of enquiry. Final pricing is as agreed in your written confirmation. We will notify you of any material change before it takes effect. Unless otherwise stated, prices are exclusive of VAT where applicable, which will be shown separately on invoices.

4. Your Right to Cancel (Consumer Contracts)

If you are a consumer and you engage our services remotely (by phone, email, or through this website), you have the right to cancel within 14 days of entering into a contract without giving a reason, under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

If you request that we begin work within the 14-day cancellation period and you subsequently cancel, you may be liable to pay for any work completed up to the point of cancellation. To cancel, please contact us at quotes@seoforelectricians.uk. We will acknowledge your cancellation promptly in writing.

5. Ongoing Service Agreements

Our monthly SEO and digital marketing retainers operate on a rolling month-to-month basis. Either party may terminate an ongoing engagement with 30 days' written notice. Where work has already been completed or initiated for the upcoming billing period, fees for that period remain payable.

6. Payment Terms

Payment terms are as stated in your written agreement or invoice. Invoices are typically due within 14 days of issue unless otherwise agreed. Overdue invoices may attract statutory interest under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998. We reserve the right to pause active campaigns where invoices remain unpaid beyond 30 days.

7. Our Liability

We will deliver all services with reasonable care and skill. However, SEO and digital marketing services are subject to factors outside our control, including changes to search engine algorithms, competitive activity, and platform policy changes. We do not guarantee specific ranking positions or specific levels of traffic or enquiries.

Our liability to you shall not exceed the total fees paid for the specific service in the three months preceding any claim. We are not liable for:

Loss of earnings, revenue, or profits arising from ranking changes
Consequential or indirect losses of any kind
Results affected by changes you make to your website or GBP without our knowledge

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

8. Your Responsibilities

You agree to:

Provide accurate, complete information about your business and requirements
Grant us the access necessary to perform agreed services (website access, GBP access, etc.)
Notify us promptly of any changes to your business, services, or service area
Not make material changes to areas we are actively optimising without prior agreement

9. Intellectual Property

Content we create for your campaign — including copywriting, page content, and blog articles — becomes your property upon payment of the relevant fees. Website designs and code remain our intellectual property until final payment has been received, at which point ownership transfers to you.

10. Confidentiality

We treat all client information as confidential. We will not disclose your business details, campaign strategies, or performance data to third parties without your consent, except as required by law or where necessary to deliver agreed services (such as using third-party tools or platforms).

11. Complaints

If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of our service, please contact us in the first instance at quotes@seoforelectricians.uk. We aim to acknowledge complaints within 2 working days and resolve them within 10 working days. If we are unable to resolve your complaint, we will advise you of any applicable alternative dispute resolution options.

12. Website Use

This website is provided for information purposes only. We make every effort to ensure accuracy but do not guarantee that content is complete, current, or error-free. You must not misuse this website by introducing malicious code or attempting unauthorised access. We reserve the right to modify or remove website content at any time without notice.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. Changes to terms do not affect any contract already in force.
